The SAN DIEGO CRUISER ASSOCIATION is hosting the 2010 Barusch / Castagna Cruiser Navigation Regatta.
Dates for the event are now set for June 17,18, & 19. The Southwestern Yacht Club has agreed to be the host
yacht club this year.
The Barusch / Castagna Regatta is sponsored annually by the Pacific Coast Yachting Association (PCYA),
representing West Coast yachting organizations and clubs from Vancouver, Canada to San Diego, California.
This regatta brings together the top two cruiser navigation contestants from each of the member West Coast
clubs for a three day venue capped by a 35 nm. predicted log contest.
The Barusch Trophy goes to the individual skipper who has the best score among all contestants.
The Castagna trophy goes to the yacht club whose skippers collectively score the best among all other club
representatives.
Details of regatta arrangements, contest rules, contest instructions, and other matters are being added to this
